Shannon Rene' "Shaz" Justice was born in Ohio with a pencil in her hand, prepared to take over the world with her illustrations.
Her art career started small when she won three art contests in Elementary school and then moved up to larger state art shows in High School.
She became a full time designer/illustrator in 2007 after taking about a 10 year break from the art world and has been tackling any and every project sent her way since.
Shannon has done several logos and designs for various online retailers and has even created illustrations for GirlZone.com. Her first gothic inspired children's book "'The Lighter Side of Dark' Book One: Enter the Yard" was published in March of 2009 and is available on Amazon.com.
Shannon was recently chosen by SONY to help launch their APxSony ATV Lyrical Inspirations Official Collection. She created illustrations inspired by 5 different songs, each by a famous Sony recording artist: 'Burning Love' by Elvis, 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot' by Pat Benatar, 'True Colors' by Cyndi Lauper, 'Alone' by Heart, and 'Burnin' For You' by Blue Oyster Cult.
In late 2009, Shannon started contributing some of her limited edition artwork to some of the hottest Hollywood event gift lounges including the 2009 American Music Awards, the 2010 Golden Globe Awards, 2010 Oscars, the 2010 MTV Movie Awards and 2010 ESPY Awards. Her art at the Golden Globes also gained the attention of other gift lounge venues including the Mo'nique Show on BET and the SING! Benefit for Ronald McDonald Camp and Children's Hospital of LA. She was also noticed by the fine people over at Splash Magazines and now have several products featured on all 26 of their online magazines. She has also created custom work for celebrity photographer, Tiffany Rose.
Shannon is currently licensed with Artistic Vision, Uniquely Different, and Queen Kat Stamps. She is also a member of Arts Projekt and the co-founder of The indiExhibit.
Although she still creates custom illustrations and designs for everything from weddings to baby showers, she is mostly concentrating her efforts on building The indiExhibit and her new gothic children series, "The Ghoulie Scouts".
