I was raised by two artists in a big family that moved about every three years inside and outside this great nation.I believe this is where I get my angst and almost constant motion, "I can't sit still for a minute." I have been creative all my life - it's in my blood. I have always found peace and solace in art even though sometimes the images I create are disturbing. I think of art as a cathartic process that is necessary to rattle the skeletons in my closet and hopefully the bones in closets of others. Through the years, I have used many types of mediums such as sculpture, oil and acrylic paints . In 2007, I started my new series of art - several black and white images, hand cut, stacked - with no computer manipulation, creating one iconic image. This process can be very intense as it is very detailed and specific. I have also started a T-shirt company, named FROX

The single most important thing about art is interacting with it - how it makes you feel. Does it move you? Does it take you to another place? Does it make you hate? does it make you hate the way you love?, Does it make you believe. Let's be honest, tell me the raw truth. XOXO Ross Farrell
