Brooke's artistic ability came from her grandmother who started her creativity by designing and making her own Pysanky eggs when she was 5 years old. From then on her life was surrounded with laughter, a world of color, and imagination.
She began falling in love with photography and would constantly have a Nikon in her hand. Brooke then studied at the University of Delaware, where she obtained her Bachelor's in Visual Communication. From there she expanded from photography to graphic design, illustration, advertising, printmaking, screen printing, animation, typography, book making, and web design.
Brooke won an honorable mention award through AIGA in poster design. As well as two short films in animation shown in the 4th Annual Garden Festival. She volunteered as graphic design chair on UD's largest philanthropy, UDANCE. Lastly, she worked in a letterpress designing with poet Devon Miller-Dungan.
She is inspired by every day life, love, friends, and family. She may not know where she will be 10 years from now but she will be doing what she loves, designing.
