Fluff

Fluff is an ultra cute and glamorous brand created by artist, Claudette Barjoud. Inspiration for the designs comes from her love of all things retro and vintage, spanning the eras of the 1920’s -60’s. Some of Claudette’s favorites include Art Deco, Pinup, Rockabilly, Mod, Mid Century Modernism, with a dash of Japanese kawaii cuteness!

Claudette was born amongst the pink flamingos and colorful art deco style of Miami Beach, Florida. Since she learned to pick up a pencil, she has always loved to draw.

While working as a designer for Frederick’s of Hollywood, Claudette discovered a stash of fabulous vintage catalogs from the 1950’s. They were full of drawings of glamorous girls with cheeky sayings and poses. It was enticing from start to finish. This fun vintage glamour was something she wanted to capture in her own work.

After working for many companies where she designed products and packaging with fun, original designs inspired by vintage design, Claudette decided to give her dream a chance...to make Fluff! A line that would be like a delightful dessert with many delicious layers of cute and sexy retro glamour!

Fluff debuted in 2004 as a line of accessories, stationery and clothing. Fluff can now be found over 5,000 fine boutiques making people squeal with delight all over the world!
