I choose the matte/satin finish. The six stickers went on easily; there's a sticker for the top that isn't shown in the picture. I was a little apprehensive about putting stickers on the haptic pads but I was wrong. The feedback feels the same and the sensitivity of the pad is unchanged. The image quality is great.

Farewell glossy ugly surface! :D I went for the matte version and it both looks and feels great for this controller. I love the retro inspiration of the Atari 2600. The centerpiece is a little hard to get in the right position, and although I am super careful, I still got a tiny offset on the A and X buttons. The circular decals leave about 0.5mm until the edge of the touch-pad. it's not bothersome unless you swipe from the edge (where you will feel the decal slightly). The sensitivity and haptic feedback still feels the same.

I recently bought a Black Woodgrain Steam Controller skin in matte finish. It arrived about two weeks later using the cheapest shipping option (to Europe), which is not bad at all. The stickers go on easily and had absolutely no bubbles stuck underneath. They seem to be great quality, and don't affect the trackpads negatively at all. I might even go as far as to say I prefer the feel of the decals over the bare trackpads. The only minor negative is that the corners of the decals that go on the handles peel up a bit after awhile, although they can be pressed down again. I managed to apply one of the trackpad stickers a bit off-center and I didn't notice it until a few hours later, at which point you can no longer remove and reapply them. It bugged me, but since it was my own fault, I emailed DecalGirl asking how much I could offer them for a new trackpad decal. After seeing a picture they insisted on shipping me an entirely new controller skin free of charge other than the shipping cost. If I wasn't convinced by the service and quality already, I now am. I got more than I deserved. All in all, a great company making great decals which I will definitely recommend to friends! :)
